The 6th annual Common Heart Firecracker Run in the quaint village of Lake Park, NC.

The common Heart Firecracker run is an annual event supporting the work of Common Heart and its volunteers in the community.

Common heart operates 6 local food pantries in Union county, NC providing over 380,000 meals annually, serving 32,000 children, women, men and senior adults. common Heart's approach provides more than food, it provides friendship through over 500 volunteers serving our community's most vulnerable. Your participation helps to expand this small revolution of kindness through these pantries, and their economic empowerment program providing training, support and a way for our neighbors living in poverty to engage and be advocate for solutions to the problems of hunger and poverty locally.
